Project Blue is a revolutionary new model that provides world class MRO materials management, moving from a Just In Case to a Just In Time philosophy.
Entec manage 3rd party MRO in three phases:
Phase 1: Entec manage the offshore procurement to drive down cost to acquire and to develop efficient P2P practices. The materials are categorised and grouped based on the usage frequency, item price, supplier group, material category & sub category to better manage the long tail. Entec jointly manage the supplier relations for the client by categorising them as strategic, key and tactical suppliers.
Phase 2: Entec take control of the onshore procurement and creates a fixed price e-catalogue for fast moving and high volume items, in order to bring higher levels of automation to MRO procurement. This turns the complex P2P process into a leaner model and Entec’s advanced reporting tools and app enable the client to see the benefits achieved by this process in real-time.
Phase 3: Entec aid the client in store management and inventory optimisation, this involves Entec supporting the MRO stores using industry best practices, six sigma process improvement, 5S and ISO 55000 standard asset management. Demand driven inventory management ensures that you hold the correct stock levels at all times, while our clients also benefit from a pooled inventory system, managed through multiple tiers and based around the availability of goods at a global, regional and local level.
