Financial Controller Africa for MRO supply chain specialists Entec Global, Malick Ceesay is celebrating the successful achievement of his MSc (Master of Science) in Finance from the University of Leicester, whilst juggling a demanding role at work and the needs of a young family.
Malick joined Entec in 2012, bringing a wealth of experience to the team from prior financial positions and academic studies. According to Paul Carter, Financial Director at Entec, Malick approached the company for support furthering his academic ambitions and Entec was delighted to help.
Paying tribute to Malick’s hard work and commitment, Paul said: “Malick is a valued member of our staff, so we were more than happy to fund his Msc in Finance via the University of Leicester. He has worked hard, including managing the challenges of Covid, but he has balanced his work and studies well and has reaped the rewards. All at Entec send warm congratulations on his well-deserved achievement!”
Commenting on the completion of his degree, Malick said: “I am immensely grateful and to the board and management of Entec for funding my course. My particular thanks to Paul for facilitating the sponsorship and for his continuous support during my studies. It was tough, not just academically, but also due to the combined demands of full-time work and helping out with one-year old twins at home. However, Entec’s financial support went a long way towards lightening the load.”
He adds, “I hope to repay you by utilising the knowledge gained in a way that has impact and is beneficial to the company, now and in the future.”
